We care how software gets made.

Stanbren is a small software studio. We build custom software for other companies, and we build and run our own products. But the thing that connects all of it is simpler than that: we can’t leave something slower, clunkier, or worse than it should be. It bugs us — so we fix it.

That’s why we don’t just take a brief and build to spec. We go looking — for the wasted steps, the friction your team stopped noticing, the small things that add up to a worse experience for the people you serve. Finding those is half the job; building the fix is the other half.

And we sweat the part a lot of teams treat as optional: how it actually feels to use. Software that’s technically correct but a chore to live with isn’t finished, in our book. We want whatever we hand you to be something you’re proud to put in front of your customers.

If you found us through KeyBind or RustyWasp — that’s us. They’re the clearest proof of how we think: we built them because we wanted them to exist, and we look after them because people count on them.

What we hold to

  • We find the real problem.

The brief is where we start, not where we stop — half our value is spotting what you didn't think to ask for.

  • We care how it feels.

Technically correct isn't good enough. If it's a chore to use, it's not done.

  • We treat your software like our own.

We live with our own products every day, so we only make decisions we'd want to live with.
